Who can use Skillbraid

You must be at least 16. If you are 16 or 17, a parent or guardian must approve your account before you apply for paid work, and you can only take gigs checked as suitable for under-18s.

For learners

• Be honest about your skills. Self-reported skills are labelled as such.
• Never pay a business, and never share passwords or OTPs.
• Do not start work until the gig shows “In progress”, which means the business has paid.

For businesses

• Only post lawful, paid work with a clear brief and a named reviewer. No unpaid trials and no fees to learners.
• Never post hazardous work as open to under-18s, or ask under-18s to work between 7 pm and 8 am, beyond 3 hours without a 1-hour break, or beyond a 6-hour day.
• You pay the learner’s pay plus the Skillbraid fee before work starts. Review submissions promptly.

Payments

Payments are processed by Razorpay. Learner payouts are released when the business approves the work, or after a moderator resolves a dispute. [REFUND AND DISPUTE TIMELINES]

No guarantees

Career plans and skill bridges are guidance only. They do not guarantee a job or income.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.
